Story
The pandemic became a time of reflection and growth, symbolized by a quiet room, a shelf of books, and a world just beyond the window bursting with possibility. In solitude, I discovered gratitude—for nature, for loved ones, for the pace of life we often overlook. Through moments of struggle, learning kept hope alive. A garden blooms with meaning: Blue Iris for hope, Red Rose for love, Yellow Daisy for joy, Pink Sakura for renewal. Butterflies dance among them, reminding me we’re never truly alone. Even in stillness, there is transformation—and together, we rise, renewed by connection, courage, and possibility.

My journey into large-scaled projection mapping began with a piece created for the 1 Minute Projection Mapping Competition in Tokyo 2021, illuminating the timeless façade of the Meiji Memorial Picture Gallery. Though I wasn’t chosen as a finalist, it was a meaningful first step—my imagination cast onto architecture for the very first time. Blending multiple tools and techniques, I shaped a dreamlike scene, drawing viewers into a calm, fantastical world where light and story gently intertwined.
