About

Introducing myself through 3D space

Beyond Worlds was created as a way to introduce myself to my team. Rather than using a standard sequence of slides, personal background, work, creative interests and hobbies unfold as connected environments that can be viewed inside a 3D space.

The journey

A journey through places and interests

The presentation begins with my name dropping into the scene, followed by Earth to show the places where I have lived. The camera zooms into my current town, then travels through education, work and creative interests including projection mapping, interaction and VFX. It finishes with hobbies, moving through a Go room and kitchen before a winter landscape transforms into green.

01 · Interaction

Controlling the journey

Pressing the Next button triggers Blueprint logic that controls the timing, plays each Sequencer animation and moves the camera into the next environment. Navigation therefore becomes part of the presentation rather than a break between slides.

02 · Animation

Animating every scene

The scenes vary in scale, but each is animated to appear, perform and disappear through Sequencer. VFX simulations, particles, shaders and post-processing give the environments their own movement and atmosphere while supporting the transition into the next part of the story.
