For a children’s drawing projection at Lalaport Shopping Mall in Ebina,
Japan, I crafted 4 themed title animations—each capturing a unique
moment of celebration: Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Congratulations
on becoming adult, and an overall celebration. Designed to echo the
innocence and wonder of the children's artwork, the animations were
completed within a tight one-week timeline. To bring each scene to life,
I used a combination of Unreal Engine, Cinema 4D, Unity, and After
Effects, blending different tools to shape playful yet emotive visual
experiences.

Initial idea for Christmas
This was the original concept I developed for the Christmas version.
However, after presenting my idea, I realized that projecting it onto a
building with bright surroundings made it difficult to see the details
due to low contrast. Despite this, I really like how the scene turned
out. The scene was initially blocked out in Cinema 4D and then imported
into Unreal Engine. The black-and-white image was generated using
OpenCV’s edge detection.
